Our chutneys are prepared and cooked following the instructions of a cookery book published in 1951.
Moving slightly away from French cooking to the flavours of Indian but still with the French cooking with attitude. We’ve created the chutneys with natural ingredients, building of flavours, layer by layer.
Cuisine du marché (cooking from the daily market) where we get most of our products to cook with.
Chutneys improves with age.

Our Chutney Relish & Pickles are simple and freshly made when the produces are in season. They are slow cooked vegetables and fruits, are often sweetened with cane sugar or honey and preserved with our homemade vinegar.

Wrapped in hand-dye ombré cotton linen. The fabric colours are our favourite, Olive, peony, balsam, mustard & tulip red.
We’ve loved experimenting with some natural fabric dyes like red onions, beetroot, tea, mustard but also used Dylon dye.

Ingredients: beetroot(37%), sugar(23%), vinegar(19%), Orange(9%), apple(7%), onions(5%), cinnamon, cloves, coriander seed, MUSTARD SEEDS, sea salt.

Ingredients: pear(10%), apple(10%), Brown sugar(38%), Apple vinegar(20%), RAISINS(13%), onion(8%), lemon, red pepper, chilli flakes, MUSTARD, cloves, nutmeg, ginger, sea salt.

Store in a cool dark place, once opened, store in the fridge and eat within a month.
